His parents were rice wholesalers at Shima-no-uchi (Nagahori-bashi) in Osaka. They had to quit the business during World War II because of the government economic control. After the war, in October, 1945 they immigrated to Hokkaido (Shosanbetsu-mura, Tomamae-gun) and started a development work as settlers. They failed the development and returned to Osaka. His father died when he was 6 years old, so his mother raised him, his brothers and a sister (5 children altogether).

July 23rd, 1948born in Hokkaido as the third son with two brothers and one sister.
February 1951a younger brother was born.
August 1954all members of the family gave up the development and went back to Osaka.
April 1955entered the Anryu Osaka Municipal Elementary School.
February 1956father died.
April 1956transferred to the Oriono Osaka Municipal Elementary School.

September 1961 transferred to the Asahi Sakai Municipal Junior High School.

April 1964entered the Osaka Prefectural Technical College, majored in civil engineering.

April 1969joined Kajima Corporation and assigned to the Osaka Branch.
January 1973got married.
May 1978transferred to the International Devision.
Since then, worked in Burma (Myanmar), Trinidad and Tobago, and Indonesia.
July 1991, transfered to the Central African Republic.
Since March 1999, working in the Federal Democratic Republic Ethiopia.
May 2003resigned from Kajima Corporation.
Home in Japan is in Saitama Prefecture (father of a son and two daughters).
